This year, the Puerto Rican Youth Development and Resource Center celebrates its 37th anniversary with a very special guest: Rosie Pérez, actress, choreographer and Academy Award Nominee.
On October 27, Ms. Pérez will especially visit Rochester to join the celebration. She will present her new film "Yo Soy Boriqua, Pa' Que Tu Lo Sepas" to local students during the day, and in the evening, she will be the keynote speaker on a special program to benefit PRYD at a VIP reception and dinner.
The visit of Rosie Perez for this event is made possible by the generosity of Los Padres Foundation.
